You choose your own server
Virtual Office runs on a server that belongs to you: a cloud server from a provider you pick (such as DigitalOcean or AWS) or a machine in your own office. You choose it and pay for it directly; it is between you and your provider, not part of our price. A Linux server with 2 GB of memory is enough to start.

Can we bring our old Gmail, files and calendar?
Yes. Virtual Office imports mail exported from Google (.mbox), files as a .zip and calendars (.ics). For new customers we do the move for you.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It opens in any phone browser and can be added to the home screen like an app, with notifications on your phone.
Can people outside the company join calls or chat?
Yes. Clients and suppliers get a private link. They join a call or a chat in their browser, with no account.
Does Accounting handle GST and TDS?
Yes: GST invoices and bills, TDS, payments, bank reconciliation, profit and loss, balance sheet and GST reports, with a full audit trail.
What do we pay after we buy it?
Nothing to us, unless you choose the care plan. You pay your own server provider. Updates and support are included for the first year; after that they are optional, and Virtual Office keeps working either way.
What does the care plan add?
We look after your office every month: updates, backups with an off-site copy, a check every 5 minutes, everyday admin and a monthly health report. Your server bill stays with your provider.
Which server do we need?
Any Linux server you control with 2 GB of memory or more, from any provider you like, or a machine in your own office. We install Virtual Office on it for you.
Who can see our data?
Only the people you add to your office. Each company has its own office on its own server.
